Mural Painting - Meet the Artist

Paint by Bridget has been my dream since I was a child. Growing up, I always loved art. I loved the creative outlet that it gave me and also the challenge that I was presented everytime I began a new project. Some people view an empty canvas or a blank piece of paper as intimidating, I find it inspiring.

Throughout middle school and high school I took a few art classes, but it was in college that I fell in love with paint. I love to see how a color or multiple colors can completely transform the feeling of a room. The room is no longer just a room but an experience.

I graduated magna cum laude from Lees-McRae College, which is located in the mountains of western North Carolina. I received a degree in Business Administration and Art, and I also played NCAA Division II volleyball. I was involved with Sigma Beta Delta, Alpha Chi, Chi Alpha Sigma, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

The focus in my art degree was oil painting. Some other areas of emphasis include design, watercolor, and figure drawing.
